A perfect love

Something I read that Mother Teresa wrote, it clearly made me realize how much we are loved.

“Suffering has to come because if you look at the cross, he has got his head bending down— he wants to kiss you— and he has both hands open wide— he wants to embrace you. He has his heart opened wide to receive you. Then when you feel miserable inside look at the cross and you will know what is happening. Suffering, pain, sorrow, humiliation, feelings of loneliness, are nothing but the kiss of Jesus, a sign that you come so close that he can kiss you. Do you understand, brothers, sisters, or whoever you may be? Suffering, pain, humiliation— this is the kiss of Jesus. At times you come so close to Jesus on the cross that he can kiss you. I once told this to a lady who was suffering very much. She answered, “Tell Jesus not to kiss m— to stop kissing me.” That suffering has to come that came in the life of Our Lady, that came in the life of Jesus— it has to come in our life also. Only never put on a long face. Suffering is a gift from God. It is between you and Jesus alone inside.”

I wish I was cool.

I wish I was cool.

True rest is in the Sacred heart of Jesus and in the Immaculate heart of Mary.

Word.

Today God revealed to me an answer to a one of my prayers during mass.  It reminded me how great our God is, that His plan is beautiful and perfect, and once again to be patient and trust in His plan. I am even more reminded to pray more fervently. Humility, trust, and abandonment to His divine providence.

Today I was talking to a very inspiring auntie and hands down it was an awesome talk. It’s been a while since I’ve talked to someone about faith and I really enjoyed it. She really put me back into perspective of how important our faith is and why I should continue to seek more in my faith. We talked about a lot of things and I really walked away learning something and grateful. At mass on Sunday a speaker said his prayer is “Lord, thank you for the gift of faith…” I understand why that is his prayer because it really is something to be thankful for.
